Ferret Playpens
Your ferret needs play time with you in
the morning and in the evening and even if you have totally ferret proofed a room, a ferret playpen is an
excellent investment.
You and your ferrets can play together in
the playpen without the being concerned about what mischief your ferrets may get up to loose in the
house.
A playpen gives your ferrets a chance to
stretch and run in a safe space, where you can see what they are up to.
A ferret playpen is also very useful for
when you are cleaning their cage or litter box.
Some hints about choosing a ferret
playpen:
· as with cages, get the largest playpen you can
manage. If you need to start small, then look for
playpens that you can extend
· a floor is essential—some
ferrets will dig anything up, including your carpet!
· make sure any toys you have are
not taller than the top of the playpen—these will be a direct escape route for your ferret
